Pet Wallpaper Maker

Some people frame the photo and hang it on the wall. Others want it right behind the work they have to get through today. Drop in one photo of your pet, choose a mood and a screen size, add their name or a line you want to keep — then take the wallpaper with you.

JPG or PNG works best. If an iPhone HEIC photo won't appear, export it as JPG from Photos and try again.

How to put it on your screen

macOS — Open the downloaded image, then right-click it and choose Set Desktop Picture. Or use System Settings → Wallpaper → Add Photo.

Windows — Right-click the file and choose Set as desktop background. Or use Settings → Personalisation → Background → Browse.

Phone — Save it to Photos, then Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper.

Can it be a screensaver?

Not as a file — a real screensaver has to be an installed, signed app, which a web page cannot create. What works well instead: make 3–8 wallpapers, keep them in one folder, and point your system's photo screensaver at that folder — macOS: System Settings → Screen Saver → Photos; Windows: Settings → Personalisation → Lock screen → Screen saver → Photos. Or press Play full screen above for an instant slideshow on any device, and leave it running.

Your photo never leaves the page

There is no upload step because there is no server involved. Your browser reads the file, draws it onto a canvas, and saves the result straight to your downloads. Nothing is transmitted, nothing is stored, and closing this page forgets everything.

That is also why this tool works on a plane and in a hospital waiting room — no connection needed after the page has loaded.

Want the version that moves with you?

On iPhone, the app walks you through giving them a Lock Screen of their own with the depth of Apple's Spatial Scene — along with a private place for their photos, letters and memories. Whether the depth effect appears is up to iOS, not the app. No account, no uploads.

  1. Open PetLoss and tap the Spatial Wallpaper guide.
  2. Follow the steps — the tutorial video can float on screen while you work in Photos.
  3. In Photos: Share → Use as Wallpaper → turn on Spatial Scene if it is offered → Add. (Lock Screen only.)
